This Privacy Policy explains how Xuan Linh Tran (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the NextFortune mobile application (“NextFortune” or the “App”) and this website.

NextFortune provides I Ching readings and related content for entertainment and personal reflection purposes. It is not intended to provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate and improve the App. Depending on how you use NextFortune, this may include:

• Photos / Selfies (optional). If you choose to use an optional “face reading” feature, you may provide a selfie or photo. This content is used to generate an entertainment-focused reading. We do not require face photos to use the core I Ching experience.
• Reading inputs. For example, the question or prompt you enter, casting details, and the reading results generated by the App.
• Analytics and diagnostics. App performance data such as crash reports, basic usage events, and device/app information (e.g., device model, OS version, app version, language, approximate region). This helps us troubleshoot and improve stability.
• Subscription information via Apple. If the App offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, they are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide us with limited information needed to provide access (for example, subscription status).

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Generate readings and provide App functionality you request (including optional face reading).
• Maintain, debug, and improve the App’s reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell your personal data.

Storage and Retention

• Temporary processing. When you submit a selfie/photo for optional face reading, the App is designed to process it temporarily to generate the requested output.
• Minimal retention. We aim to retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
• No image storage by default. We do not intend to store face photos on our servers after processing. We may store non-image outputs (such as the generated reading text) so you can revisit results, and we may store a privacy-preserving identifier to support this feature.
• Local device storage. Your reading history may be stored on your device depending on App settings. You may be able to delete history within the App.

Sharing of Information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the App (for example, analytics, crash reporting, and infrastructure providers). These providers are permitted to use information only to perform services for us and are required to protect it under confidentiality obligations.

We may also share information if we believe it is necessary to comply with the law, enforce our terms, protect our users, or respond to lawful requests by public authorities.

Children’s Privacy

NextFortune is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. You can also contact us to request that we delete certain data associated with your use of the App.
